The Inside Run & Some Good OL Coach Humor

The Inside Run

Perhaps the best fit for Guardian Caps in a practice plan is for working on inside run. The lines have to move to open and close holes, the backers have to set an angle and attack, and the TE/FB needs to set the edge. All of this happening in a small amount of space leads to contact that’s sometimes unavoidable. Contact that’s necessary to working out kinks – the secondary protection that the Guardian Caps offer is perfect for this type of drill, allowing coaches to get work done but avoid the full brunt of blows to knees, hips, heads, and hands.
